9 miles in the hills on Saturday

Here we are at the top of Hanglider...it was HARD!

The doggies (Jack Jack, Rowdy Snout and Chico Pete) weren't into being posers like the rest of us.

The rescue dogs...still with me!

Rowdy and Smokey

Having 6 dogs is pretty ridiculous. But who's going to take these two? Smokey has bronchial problems and attacks strange dogs. And Rowdy is so insecure he nips at strangers who try and pet him!

Why do all my dogs have to have "issues"? Sigh. Oh well, here they are.

I love watching them change the numbers

This was Friday, the first time Chevron dropped below $2 a gallon. Tonight, the Chevron I usually go to was at $1.93!

Ran into some protestors the other night

They were upset that our District Attorney declined to press charges against Kern High School District Trustee Ken Mettler for slugging a No on 8 protestor a couple weeks ago.

They were a small group, but festive.

This is Rob Badewitz, the guy Mettler slugged.

Hood copwatch is to catch police officers doing bad stuff.

Uh, oh...Paso..

Denise and I in Paso for the weekend...we were good...I SWEAR!...well except for the speeding ticket and the extreme drunkeness...

First...we met up with a new vineyard owner...

Gorgeous!
Oh yeah, the wine wrangler!
This is Halter Ranch
The Crooked Kilt...it started and never stopped...
This is Tony, he's my pal. And says he'll put me up any time at his place on the lake. So I got THAT goin' for me.
And the NEXT day, we had to revisit our steps in search of my sweatshirt, which I lost. First top: The crazy Pine Street Salon, which looked way classier the night before!

No sweatshirt, so we continued on to the Crooked Kilt, which we kept calling the twisted quilt...

This was the back patio where we hung out..
Denise dug the twisted quilt!!!

A recent night at the cigar bar

I have NOTHING to say about this manThe three amigos...

Cars cars cars!

Old cars were everywhere recently...what's the deal with THAT
