We try and get all the girls together once a year to run in the morning, eat scones and exchange small gifts (traditionally socks, but we've branched out).
It was a smaller group on Saturday than years past, but fun none the less.

This is the eating and gifting part...it comes AFTER the run!
Here's the end of the run. We're going up a steep hill because Nancy and Sally decided it would be more fun to run down the gully at the bottom of a canyon than come back the same way we'd gone up on Rancheria Road. It was more fun...till this hill.
My camera phone doesn't take action shots very well, but here we are in the gully.
Had to get over a fence in the middle of the gully.

The paved road we just came up is on the far left...the gully we're about to go down is directly behind the gals.
There they go, off on an adventure run.
You can kind of see the flashing snowflakes outside the doors. AND the gift on the mantel is the first official present in the house!
