Yes, ANOTHER cabin trip.
This involved the WHOLE family.
Me and my 6 dogs (yes, six!)
Uncle Charlie came out from California and brought his pal Tony, who's totally cool.
Karen and her two kids and their 2 dogs (Peter came later, as did Larry).
Dave, his two kids and their dog.
It was a FULL house...lots of fun though.

Karen, after dinner. No doubt surveying the house for new projects.

Gita and Dave.

I made them walk to the river after dinner one night and thought I'd get a nice family portrait. Instead, I got this.

Ali having her bath

I think there are similar photos of all us grand kids at the cabin!

I just love the expression on Ali's face. Whatever's going on there, she's NOT buying it.

Awww...

Robert wondering what's taking so long.

There was a nasty fire going on when we were there. And it was hot as blazes. But I made the crew hike up to the top of Strawberry Peak anyway. This was our "view".

At the top!

And yes, more Clavey pictures

Here we are at Cleo's Baths...totally different from the Clavey. Yes, there's rocks and trees and water, but other than that, completely different.

The view from Cleo's looking back toward Pinecrest Lake.

Larry with coffee, book and dog. Which is pretty much how you'll see him all the time!
Well, he already had his coffee, was thinking about his book and, as you can see, there's another dog.

We hiked up to Catfish Lake and despite the fact that I always thought it was GRODY as a kid, I went swimming along with Charlie and our dogs. The sides were grody, but the water was great.

Here's the view from 108 at Herring Creek road looking west into the canyon. The wasn't really that far from Strawberry!

Here's the Forest Service map posted at Herring Creek road showing where the fire had already burned
