This should be EVERY day

The owner of my paper has deemed that for the next two weeks, employees can bring their critters to work (some exceptions of course, such as nothing poisonous, no livestock, etc.).

So I had some of my dogs at work, of COURSE!

And I took them for a 5 mile run at lunchtime. We did 5 miles in 47 minutes, average pace 9:24 minute, best pace 6:40 minute, burned 460 calories.

Here are the doggies (Just Jack Jack and Chico today) hard at work in the office!

Keeping track

Before my GPS zeros out all my runs I thought I'd write them down

Dec. 5, 6 miles (flat)
Dec. 6, 4 miles (hills)
Dec. 8, 8 miles (flat, Sacramento)
Dec. 10, 4 miles (flat, Sacramento w/Mareva and friends)
Dec. 12, 6 miles (flat, along the river)
Dec. 13, 6 miles (hills)
Dec. 16, 5 miles (flat, w/Glenn and John at work, 46 minues, 7 min mile best pace)
Dec. 19 and 20 (weekend, NOTHING!!!)

Plan is to run tomorrow, Monday, and Wednesday again at lunch time.

I'm nursing some kind of weird achilles injury. Though through friends and Google, I've decided it's not a tendon pull or any kind of real serious strain to the actual tendon. I'm, leaning toward a muscle strain or perhaps some kind of odd bursitis.

I didn't run this weekend...booo

But I had a Christmas party instead...yay!

Here is my tree this year. It's taller than normal, which is why it is so BARE!

Lots and lots and lots of food. Cause we all need to eat MORE

Happy night, THE END
