Dipsea, Stinson Beach and tons more

So what if I almost died during the half marathon. That's no reaons not to get dressed up and go party w/my old friend Andrea at the cooooolest little hidden bar beneath the Golden Gate!

Then the next day, June 14, was the Dipsea race, which is the race I really wanted to do but it's super hard to get into, even tho it's just a local 7 mile deal. It's really rugged, basically going from Mill Valley up over Mt. Tam to Stinson Beach. I've hiked it but never have gotten into the run.

This year my brother in law, peter got in, so we went to cheer him on.

Here are the kidlets, Gita and Jake, waiting for dad.

And here he comes! WOOO HOOO!

It was such incredible weather, we went to Stinson to have a beach day, along with pretty much ALL of San Francisco.

Mom and her granddog, Nellie.

Then I went up to Andrea's ranch in Cotati for bbq. We decided it was a hat kinda night.

After that, I crused over to Sacramento to stay w/ my friend Mareva and interview Sen. Roy Ashburn about his secret gay life. Which has nothing to do with these flamingos. This was some school charity thing, like tping only less messy.

And after that, Andrea and fam met me at the cabin for the weekend. Here's Chey in a pose that is eerily like the painting I made for Andrea when she was pregnant with Trinity.
